Dr. Davenport’s career in the dental world spans over a full decade now. She first got her start as a general dentist at a community health clinic before finding her way to the pediatric field a few years later. Today, she loves helping our little patients feel safe and at ease in the treatment chair so that they always have a positive, fun experience! Why Did You Decide to Become a Pediatric Dentist?
Dr. Davenport chose pediatric dentistry because she loves working with kids and is passionate about early prevention. She finds it so rewarding to teach children lifelong habits that will help them have a healthy smile, all while making each visit an enjoyable and empowering experience for them.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
After attending the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Davenport obtained her dental degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry. She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Today, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and was awarded the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for scoring in the top 3% in the nation on her written board examination! She’s also been on the staff at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago since 2016 and is a current member of the following organizations:

What Do You Like to Do?
At home, Dr. Davenport and her husband Kevin have two young children who keep her very busy. Some of her favorite hobbies include watching college football (Go Irish!), hiking, hand lettering, spending quality time with loved ones, and baking treats. She has a BIG sweet tooth, so she can definitely relate to the struggles of trying to make healthy choices for your teeth!
